Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, We were truly blessed by abundant rain during the beginning of this year. A true reminder of God’s goodness. Leviticus_26:4 "I will give you rain at the right time. The land will produce its crops, and the trees in the field will produce their fruit. The World Race Gap Year teams that joined us from the beginning of December 2016, spend January, ministering in the mornings in the villages and helping out at the base in the afternoons. They brightened the base with their joy and eagerness to serve.. nothing was too much for them; collecting sand, harvesting wheat, girls sleepover every Thursday night. They painted the Joy School of Hope building in and outside There was time for celebration… Carly’s birthday, picnics, worship evenings under the stars….and new experiences.. slaughtering chickens :-) We thoroughly enjoyed the visit from Justin Harsdorff, the first World Racer to visit us for a second time. As always he was eager to help in any way. He traveled with us to our home town, Kimberley, before traveling to Namibia.
